Multiple Arson Wildland Fires & Arrest:Portola Valley CA,USA

Multiple Arson Wildland Fires were set in the dry grass and brush on Alpine & Arastrdaro Roads in Portola Valley CA,USA, Four back to back fires were lit from Alpine Road leading down Arastedaro Road. A suspect was seen running from the scene and was arrested further down Arastrdaro. That grass was extremely dry and the potential for disaster was extremely high. Credit is given to mutual aid and the agencies responding to avert a repeat of disaster that took place in the exact same area 20 years before, when twelve families lost their homes due to another Arson fire. We would like to credit the fire departments of Palo Alto,FD Santa Clara County FD, Woodside FD, Cal Fire with one Helicopter one Dozer and four engine companies, and credit the multiple sheriff Department patrol cars of San mateo and Santa Clara Counties for making the quick arrest.
